Alabama woman dies in accident in George County

PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – A Daphne, Alabama woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 98 in George County Wednesday afternoon.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said 64-year-old Lisa Frayer died at the scene of the accident.

On Wednesday around 3 p.m., police responded to a report that an accident had occurred on U.S. Route 98.

MHP said an initial investigation revealed that a 2022 Dodge Ram driven by 33-year-old Kevin Carey of Anna, Texas, was traveling east on U.S. 98 when it collided with a 2000 Ford F-150 driven by Frayer, which was traveling north from Beaver Creek Road.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP.
