Daphne Joy deletes 50 Cent rape allegation from social media

Daphne Joy, whose real name is Daphne Joy Narvaez, has deleted a social media upload in which she accused 50 Cent of rape and violent acts. According to TMZ, The Instagram post was removed from the 37-year-old’s feed on Thursday (July 11). 50 Cent also deleted uploads that referred to Joy.

According to the tabloid, Narvaez’s Instagram post was deleted to keep the peace with 50 Cent for their child, Sire. The social media cleanup came in the wake of a defamation lawsuit filed by 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, against his former partner.

In March, Narvaez claimed 50 Cent was an absent parent and also made allegations of rape and assault. The allegations came after the musician teased the model and called her “you little sex worker” after her name appeared in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs filed by producer Rodney “Lil’ Rod” Jones.

“Let’s put the real focus on your evil deeds of raping and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will take care of you from now on. You have permanently destroyed the last hope I had in you as a father to save our family with these last and final false allegations against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time,” Joy’s post to the G-Unit rhymer read.

50 Cent responded by announcing legal action against Narvaez and denying the allegations of violence.

“The disturbing allegations contained in the affidavits recently filed in a court case involving Daphne Joy, the mother of my 12-year-old child, have compelled me to take all necessary legal action to protect my son Sire,” 50 Cent said in a statement to MOOD at the time. “The recent false and baseless allegations made by Daphne Joy are clearly a reaction to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my top priority and placing him in a safe environment is my sole focus at this time.”

His lawsuit was officially filed in May 2024. His legal team stated that Joy refused to remove the post unless he gave in to the blackmail.

“Narvaez knows that Jackson did not rape or physically abuse her, yet she knowingly shared the false statements to her nearly 2 million followers on Instagram. Narvaez posted the defamatory post and refuses to remove it out of pure hatred and malice toward Jackson.”
