Drew McIntyre Storyline – Suspended from WWE after Money in the Bank

Drew McIntyre has been suspended indefinitely from WWE competition due to his highly unprofessional conduct on Saturday. Money in the bank first-class live event.

The evening started strong for McIntyre, as the Scottish warrior won the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Drew had previously vowed to cash in on the night, and kept his word by taking part in the World Heavyweight Championship match later in the show. CM Punk once again proved to be a thorn in McIntyre’s side, costing the Scottish warrior the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the third time this year.

Drew McIntyre suspended

On the post-show, McIntyre went on a verbal tirade, warning Punk that he knew where his family lived. Several officials attempted to restrain McIntyre, including Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who received an elbow from the former world champion for his troubles.

The Fallout

Pearce released a breaking news video on Sunday to address the fallout from McIntyre’s behavior, which he called the “elephant in the room.” He announced that McIntyre has been suspended indefinitely. He has also issued fines (amounts undisclosed) to both Punk and McIntyre.

GM Pearce will discuss the matter in more detail next Monday. WWE Raw takes place in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.

With McIntyre banned from the program, questions have been raised about what will happen next in his match with CM Punk. No announcement was made on the upcoming episode of Raw that Punk vs. McIntyre will finally happen at SummerSlam 2024. However, with McIntyre banned, that remains to be seen until a few weeks before the show.
