Tonight, the El Paso area was hit by severe weather. Numerous outflow boundaries or wind gusts from nearby storms contributed to hail, gusty winds, and flooding rain. Most reports of hailstones were pea to marble sized. Gusty winds, possibly over 60 mph or so, were reportedly blamed for downed power lines in the Fort Bliss area. Rainfall in the flooded areas around El Paso International Airport is estimated at 1-1.5 inches. We are not expecting any further storms tonight.

On Sunday, temperatures will rise with highs of around 41 degrees and plenty of sunshine. There is a slight chance of storms at 10%.
