Man pleads guilty to raping a minor, faces life sentence

Sentencing for 53-year-old Ray Ramos is scheduled for July 24.

BRYAN, Ohio – A Montpelier man pleaded guilty in Williams County Common Pleas Court in late June to raping an 11-year-old girl, court documents show.

The indictment against 53-year-old Ray Ramos, which describes him as a “sexually violent sex offender,” carries a sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years, court documents say.

As part of the agreement, six other rape charges will be dropped.

The sentencing for Ramos is scheduled for July 24 at 10 a.m.
