Former Cleveland Browns safety Tashaun Gipson has been suspended by the NFL

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (WKBN) – ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Cleveland Browns safety Tashaun Gipson Jr. has been suspended six games for violating the league’s doping policy.

He spent the last two seasons in San Francisco.

Gipson originally signed with the Browns (2012-15) as an undrafted free agent out of Wyoming. He later played for the Jaguars, Texans and Bears.

Over the course of his career, Gipson has accumulated 684 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 33 interceptions and 3 defensive touchdowns in 173 regular season games.
