Two dead and one seriously injured in separate road accidents in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Two people died in separate road accidents in the early hours of Sunday, police officials said.

Janardhana (25) of Muthyalanagar died when his two-wheeler crashed into a cement mixer parked on the roadside in Hebbal. He was returning from his night shift at a private firm, Hebbal traffic police said.

Janardhana was taken to a nearby hospital but doctors declared him dead. A case has been registered and an investigation is on.

In the second case, Kumar (30) and his friend Naveen (20), both employees of a private company, were injured after Kumar lost control of their motorcycle. The accident occurred near a private college in Bommanahalli, Madiwala traffic police said.

According to police, Kumar succumbed to his injuries while Naveen was still in critical condition in the hospital.
