Chatham County Police are investigating a shooting in the 300 block of N. Lathrop, near the Port of Savannah. The incident occurred Tuesday. An adult female has since been transported to the hospital. Details on the extent of her injuries are not yet available. Authorities have indicated they do not believe this shooting was a random act of violence. As of now, no suspects are in custody in connection with the incident.
