According to reports, the sister of Hamas leader Haniyeh was killed by the Israeli army

The sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was reportedly killed in an Israeli military attack on the Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Israeli media reported on Tuesday morning, citing Palestinian sources.

The Israel Defense Forces spokesman said in a statement on Tuesday morning that soldiers attacked terrorists operating from two buildings in the northern Gaza Strip last night, including terrorists involved in the hostage-taking of Israeli hostages.

Attacks were carried out on buildings in Shati and Daraj Tuffah, but the IDF did not comment on the specific targets or the other people killed in the attacks.

The Israeli military said the terrorists were involved in planning numerous terrorist attacks against Israel, and some were involved in the October 7 massacre.

In April, prosecutors filed charges against 57-year-old Zebah Abdel Salem Haniyeh, another sister of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh who lives in Tel Sheva.

She was arrested on suspicion of links to Hamas and of inciting and supporting terrorism and placed under house arrest in May.

Three of Haniyeh’s sons were killed in an Israeli Air Force airstrike in the Gaza Strip in April.
