Although she is no longer part of the cast, Kandi took the time to defend Kenya’s indefinite suspension in a recent interview.

“I don’t like that they suspended Kenya. I know a lot of people said ‘she shouldn’t have shown that,’ but that’s Housewives,” she said on Streetz 94.5. Morning takeover from Streetz. “How many times have we done something you think we shouldn’t do? So who made the rules? Why do you suddenly have such a problem with someone doing something crazy to someone else?”

Many people were upset about Kenya’s use of “revenge porn” against her new colleague Brittany Eady, but Kandi seems to believe that in reality TV and in war, anything goes.

“If it was on the internet and the girl hit on her, then it’s like, ‘fine.’ You don’t get to decide how she hits on her. But I guess we’ll see when we see the episode.”

There are still conflicting reports about what happened during an event celebrating the opening of Kenya’s new hair spa. Kenya, for her part, has denied all claims that explicit photos of Eady were shown at the event and claims that she is exonerated of the allegations.

Fans of Kenya flooded the popular Bravo franchise’s social media accounts demanding that the original cast member be allowed to stay for season 16, and on Instagram she told a fan that people were falling for “unsubstantiated claims.”

“No one credible, including my employer, has confirmed anything. So everyone is literally running away with unsubstantiated claims and misrepresentations… Patience is a virtue, as is due process.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta has had its share of jaw-dropping moments over the past few seasons, and many of them involved Kenya, including when Porsha put her paws down and when Phaedra delivered her iconic “Now look at this” line.

It remains to be seen how these new measures will fare in the Bravo Court.
