Shooting at Louisville nightclub leaves one dead and seven injured: police

One person was killed and seven others injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Louisville, Kentucky, police said.

At around 12:47 a.m. Saturday morning, Louisville Metro Police were called to a report that several people had been shot outside a business. When officers arrived at the club, called “H20,” they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Police officers provided medical attention to the man until emergency medical services arrived on the scene. When emergency medical services arrived, the victim was pronounced dead. Another victim was also found at the scene with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services took the victim to a nearby hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries, police said.
