Justin Timberlake gives speech at his first concert since his arrest for drunk driving

Justin Timberlake sent a heartfelt message to his fans at his first concert since his arrest for alleged drunk driving in the Hamptons.

“We’ve been through ups and downs together, left and right. It’s been a rough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment,” the singer and actor told the Chicago crowd, which erupted in cheers, according to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Timberlake’s tour stop on Friday at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, was the “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” singer’s first performance since his arrest by local police in Sag Harbor, New York, early Tuesday morning. He was reportedly charged with drunken driving before being released without bail.

A police officer stopped the entertainer and “observed that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Mr. Timberlake was arrested, the case processed, and held overnight pending arraignment in the morning,” according to a police statement obtained by police. The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week.
