1 was hospitalized in a motorcycle accident near the West Virginia-Pennsylvania border

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident near the West Virginia-Pennsylvania border in Monongalia County on Wednesday evening.

According to a Monongalia County 911 dispatcher, emergency crews were alerted to a two-vehicle and motorcycle crash on Point Marion Road/US Route 119 around 5:15 p.m. Responding officers on scene determined that one person was injured and took them to Ruby Memorial Hospital for their injuries.


The officer did not provide any information about the cause of the accident or the extent of the person’s injuries. They also confirmed that the road is not closed in the area.

Crews from the Cheat Lake Fire Department, Mon EMS and the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department all responded to this call.
