Louisville police seize weapons and drugs after lengthy investigation | Crime reports

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police have seized several weapons and drugs during a lengthy investigation, the police department said Monday.

The LMPD said that after an investigation by the 6th Division, two rifles, four handguns, approximately $25,000 in suspected drug money, pills and other drugs were seized.

“We are glad these guns are off our streets,” LMPD posted.

The LMPD did not release specific details about the investigation, saying there is “more work to be done.” Police did not say whether an arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
