MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man who died after a car crash was struck by a gunshot, police said.

According to Memphis Police, officers responded to the scene of a car crash at 1906 Lamar Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday morning, June 17.

A man with a gunshot wound was pronounced dead at the scene, police reported.

MPD said there is no information on a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
