Woman arrested in connection with stabbing in Baton Rouge in 2022

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge Police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Baton Rouge on December 25, 2022.

Angelique Block, 34, was arrested on a warrant on Tuesday, June 11. She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail and charged with attempted first-degree murder, according to BRPD.

According to BRPD, Block was involved in a verbal altercation with a victim in December 2022. Baton Rouge police said that at some point during the altercation, Block “armed himself with a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the chest.”
