Report: Rashee Rice is under investigation for an alleged attack at a nightclub on Monday night

Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice, who has already been charged with eight felonies stemming from a March 30 multi-car crash, now Wil be inspected for allegedly attacking a photographer at a Dallas nightclub on Monday night, WFAA reports.

According to the television station, Dallas police are interviewing witnesses about an incident in Lit Kitchen.

Rice’s availability for this season was already in question after he lost control of a Lamborghini while reportedly driving at 119 miles per hour, causing a six-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway. Two victims of the accident have filed a civil lawsuit against Rice and suspended SMU cornerback Teddy Knox, who was also speeding in Rice’s Chevrolet Corvette, also losing control and crashing.

Rice could be penalized under the league’s personal conduct policy.

Commissioner Roger Goodell said on draft weekend that the NFL would allow the legal process to proceed.by moving” on Rice, although the receiver’s recent incident could change that.

An NFL spokesman declined to comment Tuesday.

Rice has been training with Patrick Mahomes near Fort Worth, Texas, and participating in virtual meetings with the team. The Chiefs must decide before May 20 whether Rice will participate in practice at the team facility.

The Chiefs covered their bases, trading up in the first round to select Texas receiver Xavier Worthy after signing veteran receiver Marquise Hollywood Brown in free agency.

Rice led the team’s wide receivers with 938 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 receptions as a rookie last season.
