Police are investigating and a suspect has been arrested following an incident that is believed to have turned fatal in a parking garage at the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a 51-year-old man with significant injuries. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene. Police are investigating and a suspect has been arrested following an incident that is believed to have turned fatal in a parking garage at the Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant on Sunday.

At around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to an altercation at the Choctaw Casino & Resort, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. When officers arrived, they found a 51-year-old man with significant injuries.

Medical personnel performed life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene. OSBI officials identified the victim as Phillip Wingfield.
