1 dead, 1 arrested in shooting in Henderson

HENDERSON, Texas – One person was killed and another was arrested after a shooting in Henderson.

According to the Henderson Police DepartmentOn Saturday, June 8, at around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a 911 call regarding a shots fired that left a man injured.

Police On Saturday evening, June 8, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Henderson Police responded to a call reporting shots fired and one person injured. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect was arrested.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The victim’s identity is not being released pending notification of next of kin.

The case remains under investigation.
