FBI releases investigation documents on OJ Simpson

The documents from the FBI investigation into the double murder of football star and actor OJ Simpson have been released.

About 475 pages of documents related to the 1994 murders of Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman are now available for public inspection.

Simpson was acquitted of the murder charges in a sensational trial that gripped the entire nation. He died of prostate cancer in April at the age of 76.

The documents were previously only accessible through the Freedom of Information Act. However, with the publication, the collection has now been made available to the general public for the first time.

Several pages of the documents dealt with the purchase of a pair of luxury Italian men’s shoes by Bruno Magli. The documents listed the shoes as being in size 12, which played a key role in the examination of the bloody shoe prints found at the crime scene.

The documents also mention fabric samples, including fibers from the infamous white Ford Bronco that Simpson used to flee from police after being served an arrest warrant.

Although the FBI files also contain photographs, the images were not provided in the publication of the documents.
