1 dead after shooting near Red Bird complex, police say; authorities seek information

A 29-year-old man was found shot to death in a parking lot in the Red Bird area early Friday morning and later died, Dallas police said.

At 12:30 a.m., police responded to a call about a shooting in the 1300 block of West Wheatland Road, near South Polk Street, according to a news release.
