Ten people were arrested in Pittsburgh this week for drug and gun possession – WPXI

PITTSBURGH – Ten people were arrested and charged across the city of Pittsburgh last week for multiple drug and firearms-related incidents.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, Andre Tucker and Jaylin Jackson, both of Detroit, were arrested on May 22 following a traffic stop.

Inside the car was a large duffel bag containing more than $60,000 in cash and a small amount of marijuana. Tucker and Jackson received the money for delivering a large amount of marijuana to a home in the South Side Flats.

A third arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the incident, police said.

Also on May 22, five suspects were arrested in the 400 block of Jonathan Court for committing a business robbery. The suspects were in the car used in the robbery, which also contained evidence of the crime, police said.

Tyrone Beasley, 20, Isaiah Acie, 22, Tony Troutman, 21, Marcus Burgess, 20 and Anthony Reed, 18 were arrested and charged with multiple robberies and weapons offenses.

On May 24, Homewood detectives discovered a stolen vehicle on Sterrett Street near Kelly Street. The driver, Tyler Goodnight, 26, was in possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and two firearms.

That same day, 26-year-old Tyland Davis was arrested for illegally carrying a firearm and various traffic violations on the South Side.

On May 25, detectives in the area of ​​Liberty Avenue and Market Street saw two men who they believed to be armed. When police approached them, they fled on foot. They were arrested a short time later in an underground parking garage.

Nolan Hill, 19, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm without a permit, tampering with evidence and evading arrest or detention on foot. The second person was a minor and was not charged, police said.
