Penn Camp Dismantled by Philly Police; Pro-Palestinian student protesters arrested

During the march, demonstrators vow to build more camps: “If they destroy, we will build.”

A crowd of about 100 people, some waving Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyahs, marched down Chestnut and turned left onto 33rd Street. At around 10:30 p.m., they stood in a large circle at the intersection, clapping and shouting, “United students will never be defeated.” The crowd was peaceful and mostly young.

The group was followed by a line of Philadelphia police cars and vans that blocked parts of 33rd Street with flashing blue and red lights.
