Five-month drug investigation ends with search warrant in Chautauqua County

(WJET/WFXP) – A five-month drug investigation ended Friday with a search warrant in Chautauqua County that turned up more than 80 grams of crack cocaine.

Drug agents from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Dunkirk and Jamestown police departments executed a search warrant at an address on Third Street in the hamlet of Forestville at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 12.


At the same time, a search warrant was executed on a pickup truck involving two suspects, a 39-year-old man from Forestville and a 40-year-old woman from Angola.

During the search, investigators found 82 grams of crack, scales and packaging material for the sale of narcotics, as well as $422 in cash.

Both suspects were charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
