Names of the victims of the shooting early Saturday in Little Rock that left a woman dead and a man injured

Little Rock police on Thursday identified the woman killed by gunfire early Saturday and a man injured in the same shooting.

Brittany Martin, 33, of Little Rock, died of her wounds at UAMS Medical Center, a police incident report said.

Officers responded around 12:28 a.m. Saturday to a report of shots fired near Murphy at 1901 S. Pulaski St., the report said.

At approximately 12:41 a.m. Saturday, 31-year-old Dandre King of Alexander arrived at UAMS with a gunshot wound that police said he sustained in the same shooting, the report said.

Police have not yet publicly identified any suspects in Thursday’s shooting.
