Among the children killed by the Israeli army in the Bureij camp

Israeli forces have killed at least nine people, including five children playing in the street, in a deadly attack on the Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, local media and Al-Jazeera has reported.

According to local residents and reports, the attack targeted a gathering of civilians near the Abu Rasas roundabout in the camp.

Video footage shows that many of the dead were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir el-Balah.

Israel continues its assault on the territory – particularly on Gaza city – as the deadly war continues for nine months.
