Police investigation on Lombard Street in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts (WWLP) – More than a dozen police officers conducted an investigation at a home on Lombard Street in Springfield Wednesday afternoon.

When our 22News team arrived around noon, they could see several Springfield and state police officers, as well as the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, some of these officers carrying riot shields.

It is not clear what police were investigating or if there were any arrests. 22News will update this article as new information becomes available.
