Motorcyclist killed in accident in Wayzata on Tuesday

WAYZATA, Minnesota – A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Wayzata Tuesday evening.

According to Wayzata police, the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. on northbound Central Avenue near the eastbound ramp to Highway 12. Police did not provide any information on the cause of the accident, but said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.

According to officials, the driver of the other vehicle was still at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with police.
