Roanoke police seek information after two people were shot and injured

ROANOKE, Virginia. – Roanoke police are investigating after two people were shot.

Police said they were notified by 911 dispatch Saturday of two gunshot wound victims. One woman was taken to the hospital by Roanoke Fire-EMS. One man was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the incident occurred in the 3500 block of Shenandoah Avenue NW.
