Road construction alert: Winslow Street in Watertown will only be open to local traffic for the next few weeks | WWTI

WATERTOWN, NY (WWTI) – Due to construction on Winslow Street in Watertown, the street will be open to local traffic only for the next few weeks.

The work began today and is scheduled to last until Monday, July 8. The road will be reopened to full traffic every evening from 5 p.m. and on weekends.

Standard traffic control protocols will be followed throughout the project through the installation of temporary barriers, signage and use of on-site traffic signals. Pedestrians will be permitted to access the road at all times.

Motorists are asked to use alternative routes for the duration of the construction work.
