Former WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing

Former wrestling star 2 Cold Scorpio was arrested on June 15 for allegedly stabbing a man during a fight at a gas station, but Scorpio claims he acted in self-defense.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the altercation occurred at around 3:40 a.m. at a Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri. Authorities say 2 Cold Scorpio, whose real name is Charles Scaggs, was working as a security guard at the time. Scaggs noticed a man lighting a cigarette inside the store.

However, the victim told TMZ Sports that he did not intentionally light the cigarette. He believed it was extinguished before he entered the building, but admitted it may not have been fully put out.

Scaggs claimed that when he told the man that he was not allowed to smoke inside, the man became angry and reacted aggressively: “Fuck you. What the hell are you going to do?”

Scaggs reported that the man then threatened him, and when they eventually left the store, the man allegedly attempted to wrestle with him. During the ensuing scuffle, Scaggs told authorities that in self-defense, he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the man. He stated that the altercation continued for several moments, during which he delivered several more stabs.

Police reported that the stabbed man was lying on the ground with numerous wounds to his head, chest, buttocks, legs and stomach. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was in and out of consciousness. Investigators later spoke with the injured man at the hospital, where he claimed that Scaggs started the altercation.

Following the incident, Scaggs was arrested and charged with two felonies: first-degree assault and armed criminal action. He pleaded not guilty after posting bail and is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing next month. We will have to wait and see what happens to the former WWE Superstar in the end.
