34 people arrested in latest MPD operation “Code Zero”

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police confirm that officers at the Raines Station made 34 arrests Friday as part of the latest “Operation Code Zero.”

Of these 34 people, 20 were arrested for serious crimes. At least 10 of these suspects are already free.

MPD also conducted more than 200 traffic stops and seized marijuana, fentanyl, methamphetamine, several types of pills, five weapons and two stolen vehicles.

Arrests for serious crimes include:

Nathaniel Richardson, 32 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a handgun as a convicted felon, theft of property (namely, $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely, scale).

According to police, he is free on $50,000 bail.

Elizabeth Sides, 31 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, theft of property (namely $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely scale).

According to police, she was released on her parole.

James Martin, 38 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, theft of property (namely $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely scale).

According to police, he is free on $25,000 bail.

Marcus Reed, 43 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a handgun as a convicted felon, theft of property (namely, $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely, scale).

Police say he is being held on $65,000 bail.

Courtney Johnson, 32 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, theft of property (namely $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely scale).

Police say he is free on $20,000 bail. Johnson also already faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription.

Major Hunt, 39 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a handgun as a convicted felon, theft of property (namely, 2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely, scale).

According to police, he is free on $50,000 bail.

Deeandre Herod, 30 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, theft of property (namely $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely scale).

According to police, he is free on $5,000 bail and already faces charges of domestic violence, aggravated assault and bail jumping.

Marquette Dockery, 33 | Charges of willful possession of a controlled substance, theft of property (namely $2,500 or less), possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia (namely scale).

According to police, she was released on her parole.

Joshua Sharp, 36 | Charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say he is being held on $5,000 bail.

Trevor Randle, 19 | Charged with willful possession of a controlled substance.

Police say he is being held on $30,000 bail. He already faces charges of theft, evading arrest on foot, evading arrest in a car, illegal possession of a weapon, seven counts of attempted auto theft, auto theft, theft of property (namely theft of a firearm) and vandalism.

Randle was also one of four suspects charged in December for allegedly leading police on a chase in a stolen Infiniti. Police said the Infiniti struck a parked car, which in turn struck a pedestrian and killed her.

Court documents show that Randle was released from prison on parole in that case.

Cameron Fiveash, 20 | Charges of failure to obey a traffic signal, fleeing arrest on foot, tampering with/falsifying evidence, violation of financial law, hit and run, willful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous crime, reckless driving, and violation of vehicle registration law.

According to police, he is free on $35,000 bail.

Alexandria Moody, 23 | Charged with willful possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

According to police, she was released on parole.

Alexis Wright, 23 | Charged with willful possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

According to police, she was released on parole.

Larry Person, 33 | Arrested on a warrant for coercion of a witness/harassment. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Customers Conner, 33 | Arrest on the basis of a warrant to request the revocation of a suspended sentence.

McNeil Valentine, 38 | Charged with theft of property (namely between $2,500 and $10,000).

Ja’Corry Stuckey, 21 | Charges of aggravated robbery, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, theft of property (namely between $10,000 and $60,000), and theft of property (namely $1,000 or less).

Police say he is being held on $100,000 bail and has previous charges including aggravated assault, fleeing arrest in a car and possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous crime.

An unidentified 17-year-old boy was also arrested on a warrant for violating probation.

Operation Code Zero is a plan implemented by Memphis Mayor Paul Young, the MPD and several other agencies earlier this year to intervene and prevent crime.
