Baton Rouge man wanted for raping 12-year-old | Crime/Police

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Baton Rouge man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Christopher Ryan Francis, 51, is wanted for rape of a child and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Francis is a registered sex offender for a crime in 2007, when he was sent to prison for the aggravated rape of a five-year-old in Livingston Parish. According to court records, the charge was later changed to indecent behavior toward a juvenile.

He was arrested in 2022 for failing to register as a sex offender and also pleaded guilty to cocaine possession in 2008.

Baton Rouge police did not immediately respond to comment on search efforts for Francis.
