A weather day with storm warning for your Sunday | Local news

Happy Sunday everyone.

Today is a STORM WARNING DAY. The maximum temperature is 30 degrees Celsius, the sky is mostly cloudy.

There is a slight risk of severe weather (level 1/5) throughout the observation area. The two main hazards are damaging winds and small hail, both with a 5% risk. The risk of tornadoes is less than 2%, so we cannot completely rule out the possibility of one.

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. EDT this morning. If these storms maintain their strength, they can produce damaging winds and small hail. There will be a break in the storms in the afternoon and early evening hours. Storms will return between 9:00 p.m. tonight and 5:00 a.m. Monday morning. After the storms pass, Monday will be mostly sunny with highs of 29 degrees. Scattered rain showers are possible in the south in the evening.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be clear and sunny with highs of 28 to 32 degrees Celsius. Warmer weather is on the way for the rest of the week, with temperatures above 32 degrees Celsius.

We will continue to keep you updated with the latest forecasts. Thank you and keep an eye on the weather today too.
