DPS meth investigation leads to two arrests on 8th Street

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) – A Texas Department of Public Safety investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Wichita Falls leads to the arrest of two men and the seizure of nearly 1,000 grams of meth from a home on 8th Street on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Gary and Gregory Berry are charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.


DPS Criminal Investigation Division agents obtained a search warrant for the home and officers from the Wichita Falls SWAT team entered the home.

The men were arrested and agents said 462 grams of meth and numerous firearms were found in Gary Berry’s room, and 494 grams and additional firearms were found in Gregory Berry’s room.

Gregory Berry’s previous arrests include two counts of manufacture or delivery of drugs, two counts of drug possession and one count of aggravated robbery. Gary Berry’s other arrests include manufacture or delivery of drugs, drug possession and assault.
