A deranged maniac who attacked a Queens subway passenger, blinding her in one eye, faces 22 years in prison after accepting a plea deal Thursday for the shocking September 2022 attack that was caught on camera.

Waheed Foster, 43, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder in Queens Supreme Court at a hearing before Judge Ira Margulis for the brutal beating of Elizabeth Gomes at a subway station in Queens on September 20, 2022.

Waheed Foster, 43, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder in Queens Supreme Court on Thursday.

Gomes told The Post that she had just gotten off the A train at around 5:15 a.m. on her way to her job as a security guard at Kennedy Airport when Foster – who was ranting about Satan – approached her near the Howard Beach-JFK Airport station.

She said she tried to avoid Foster when the attacker attacked her, which she said was a targeted attack.

The shocking attack was captured on video and shows Foster brutally beating the victim in a Queens subway station.

The attack, captured on video, shows Foster – who has been arrested twice for assaulting women – chasing the victim off the train while attacking her near the subway entrance, police said.

Moments later, Foster threw Gomes against a wall and then repeatedly punched and kicked her while she was on the ground, police said.

Even when a passerby tried to help the woman, the attacker chased him away, as a video shows.

Gomes had to undergo emergency surgery due to her injuries, which resulted in the loss of her right eye.

The victim, Elizabeth Gomes, lost her right eye in the attack. Gabriella Bass

The homeless man, who had been arrested several times before the attack, was arrested decades ago as a teenager for beating his own grandmother, 82-year-old Ariela Mascha, to death in 1995, when he was just 14 years old.

The verdict is scheduled for June 24.
