Dallas police search for suspect who sexually assaulted runner at White Rock Lake

DALLASDallas police are searching for a man accused of attacking a woman who was jogging near White Rock Lake.

According to police, the victim was walking on the White Rock Lake Trail near the intersection of E Mockingbird Lane and W. Lawther Drive on May 30.

Around midday, the victim was attacked from behind and sexually assaulted by an unknown perpetrator.

The suspect is described as approximately 1.65 m tall with red hair and a beard.

The police have released a sketch of the suspect.

Investigators believe the man may have scratches on his face and body.

Dallas Police are asking area residents to be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description.

Police advise anyone with information about the crime to call 911.
