Man killed in car accident

A man was killed early Thursday morning when a truck he was a passenger in crashed into a culvert. The driver of the vehicle remains in critical condition, according to Bulloch County Coroner Jake Futch. At about 2:16 a.m. Thursday, William Harry Waters, 50, Lee Road, Pembroke, was driving south on Georgia 119 when he lost control of his 1986 Ford Ranger, left the road and struck a culvert, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.
