Public is asked for help in the search for a missing person

Charlotte, NC – (Monday, May 27, 2024) – Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are asking the public for help in locating 90-year-old Gorden Bryant Lewis.

Mr. Lewis was last seen driving a silver 2010 Chevy Silverado with North Carolina license plate HHB-7398 (pictured below). Mr. Lewis’ vehicle was last observed this evening around 7:55 p.m. in Charleston County, South Carolina. Mr. Lewis suffers from cognitive impairment and his family members are concerned for his safety and are seeking information regarding his whereabouts.

Anyone with information on Lewis’ whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
