Motorcycle crash in Pasco County leaves one dead | News

HUDSON, FLA- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck in Pasco County on Saturday evening.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that the accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Woodbine Drive and Powderhorn Row.

Investigators say a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 76-year-old Hudson man was traveling north on Woodbine Drive behind a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was towing a boat driven by a 58-year-old New Port Richey man.

As the truck attempted to turn left onto Powderhorn Row, the motorcycle attempted to pass on the left side. The motorcycle collided with the left front of the truck and the driver was ejected.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured. The FHP is investigating the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
