Police arrest two people in connection with drug investigation in Boulder County – Boulder Daily Camera

According to a press release from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, police recently arrested two people and seized over 26 pounds of narcotics and an undisclosed amount of money as part of an investigation.

The Boulder County Drug Task Force and other agencies in the Denver metropolitan area seized more than 23 pounds of methamphetamine, 2 pounds of heroin, 1 pound of cocaine, approximately 29,000 counterfeit M30 fentanyl pills and smaller quantities of various pharmaceutical pills, the news release said. Police did not disclose how much money they seized during the investigation or where the drug seizures occurred.

Further arrests are expected, the press release said. Several authorities are involved in the investigation, which is still ongoing.

The investigation involves members of the Boulder County Drug Task Force, Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Police Department and Lafayette Police Department. The Denver Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit is also involved, according to the press release.
