Fire on Etheridge Street in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta firefighters are investigating after three abandoned homes were engulfed in flames early Friday morning.

Officials added that one of the homes on Etheridge Street near Pelham Street caught fire, setting two homes next door on fire.

No one was injured in the fire.

11Alive sent a photojournalist to the scene, where it appeared one of the homes was burned to the ground.

Authorities announced they would open an investigation into the causes of the fire.
