Dictatorship alert!

Trumpists have not experienced a dictatorship. Some of us have done it. They blindly accept that Trump is a dictator. They have not experienced the gradual erosion of rights, including human rights. Trumpists find it funny and entertaining to listen to someone use Nazi rhetoric, humiliating even their sycophants. Trumpist women deny that a sexist pig has no regrets about cheating on his wife and attacking women. They all spew stupid lies and nonsense like puppets with huge mouths, floppy heads and shriveled souls. They know nothing about what will happen in an actual dictatorship in America. Listen, you fools!

1. Those who are not loyal to the regime and its leader are persecuted, tortured and killed. A favorite torture I remember was ripping out people’s nails until they ratted out their peers. Another option is to throw prisoners into pig pens and leave them there for days to drink, feed, and relieve themselves like pigs. Sleep deprivation is common, with loud noises and bright lights for days. Someone I loved very much witnessed all of this. He survived. He was scarred for life and wished he had died.
2. Those who are rational and neutral, professors, scientists, engineers, doctors, will be imprisoned, disappeared and stripped of their wealth if they are not killed. No justification is allowed.
3. Curfews are introduced to control what people might do in the dark. Distorted morals and outdated standards are enforced with violence, and the press and music are censored. There is no freedom of speech and expression or the right to assemble outside religious places, and even this is subject to vigilance and control. It is the opposite of democracy.

It’s their way or you’re dead. With the police and military at their backs, as well as the gun crazy, those with the most guns and tanks win. Citizens who barely pass the loyalty test run nervous, tense and fearful like automatons without free will, hiding their principles and ideas, rejecting injustice and setting an example of fear for their children. These are the living dead.

The few in positions of power who have full control over the livelihood of others, beyond the known haves and have-nots, dominate people who are deemed unworthy of freedom or dignity simply because of their habits of thought or belief, become richer and have more entitlement. They feed on greed and justice. They don’t give up.

Dictatorships last decades. When people get too loud, elections are mentioned and then forgotten. Leaving the country is not an option unless you can pay for it. Everyone is suspect and with safety and security as justification, it is more like a big prison than a country of the people and for the people.

It’s a shame that Trumpists didn’t experience a dictatorship. Some of us will not be shocked at what will happen if this leader is elected. It will be déjà vu.
