An Oklahoma woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Bandera man who is now in the Bandera County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office

BANDERA COUNTY, Texas – A woman accused of killing a Bandera man was extradited from Oklahoma to the Bandera County Jail, the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office confirmed that Freda Thomas was in its custody.

Thomas was arrested Monday in Oklahoma after a six-month search, the sheriff’s office said.

Thomas was wanted in connection with the death of 88-year-old Robert Isaacks, who was found in a home in Crockett County on November 17, 2023.

Thomas was identified days later and named as a suspect.

In April, the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office believed Thomas had been found in Mexico. However, authorities quickly stated that the woman in custody was not actually Thomas.

The sheriff’s office said Thomas waived an extradition hearing and was booked into the Bandera County Jail Wednesday evening.
