“Here they are, in pieces, here is my sister-in-law, without a head, my aunt is without a head. What kind of injustice is this? Until when will this continue? We’re exhausted, by God, we’re exhausted.” I’ve been in tents for the last seven months, I’ve never lived in a tent before. We were not made for this, the women of Palestine were not made for this, it is not fair that this is what is happening to them is not fair. By God, we’re exhausted from this.

Twenty-four Palestinians were killed overnight after Israeli fighter jets struck several areas in the central Gaza Strip, while at least seven were killed after the air force struck dozens of homes in Jabalia, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA. Some people are still missing under the rubble.

At least 34,943 Palestinians have been killed and 78,572 injured in the Israeli military offensive in Gaza since October 7, the Gaza Strip Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

The conflict was sparked by a Hamas-led attack on southern Israel in which, according to Israel, 1,200 people were killed and more than 250 people were taken hostage.
