Underage girl raped, thrown under vehicle with her hands and legs tied, investigation initiated

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh):

A minor girl was allegedly raped by two youths in Faridpur police station area in Bareilly, police said on Saturday.

The minor’s health deteriorated after the alleged crime as she fell unconscious, police said, adding that the accused tied her hands and legs and threw her under a trolley before fleeing the scene.

After the police learned of the alleged crime, they arrived at the scene and rescued the minor from under the car.

It took a long time for the minor to regain consciousness, police said, adding that she told her family members about her ordeal.

A complaint has been lodged against the accused, police said, adding that investigations are underway.
