Sammy Guevara no longer suspended by AEW

A new report provides an update on Sammy Guevara, who has been absent from AEW television since February.

Former TNT Champion Sammy Guevara was previously suspended following his match against Jeff Hardy at the AEW Rampage taping on February 14th. In the match, concussion protocol was not followed and Guevara’s opponent Jeff Hardy suffered a broken nose. Guevara wrestled against Powerhouse Hobbs on the February 24 episode of AEW Collision, but was subsequently suspended.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Sammy Guevara is no longer suspended from AEW. He noted that there is no information as to when Guevara will return to AEW television. Per Meltzer, a few things were announced, but nothing was confirmed.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
