16-year-old girl raped in Crete while on vacation with her parents

A 16-year-old girl from the UK was allegedly raped while on holiday with her parents in Crete. The girl had left her parents to go to the toilet when the alleged attack took place.

The incident occurred in a bar in Malia and was reported to local police. The suspected attacker disappeared after the incident.

The police are looking for a 28-year-old man. Local officers say they were able to identify a suspect after reviewing CCTV footage from the crime scene.

They reviewed video surveillance from the bar and other nearby venues and are now looking for a 28-year-old man believed to be from Pakistan, Proto Therma reports.
