LSU cornerback Javien Toviano arrested for video voyeurism and suspended from team activities

BATON ROUGE – LSU cornerback Javien Toviano turned himself in to police and was arrested for video voyeurism.

Toviano, a 19-year-old sophomore, is a former four-star recruit from Arlington, Texas. He has since been suspended from all team activities, according to an LSU Athletics spokesperson.

According to arrest documents, Toviano used a hidden video camera to record images of himself and the victim engaging in sexual intercourse without the victim’s consent. The victim found a clock camera on a dresser in her bedroom after finding two videos on Toviano’s iPad.

The victim tried to speak to Toviano, but he refused to speak to her. She gave her cell phone to the police, who had evidence of the videos. When questioned, Toviano admitted that he had used a hidden camera in a watch to record himself and the victim.

EBRSO then executed a search warrant for the iPad, where officers found the videos.
