Bengaluru: A fast-track court in Bengaluru hearing Pocso cases found a 29-year-old tailor guilty of sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy in May 2022 and sentenced him to five years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000. M Abdul Khuradus, a resident of RT Nagar, was arrested on May 26, 2022. Police said he sexually abused the boy when the boy came to his shop and asked for fabric scraps. “The boy had to complete a school project and needed fabric scraps. When Khuradus came to know about it, he invited him to his shop and promised to provide the fabric. When the boy went there on the evening of May 25, he was sexually abused by Khuradus. When he returned home, the boy narrated the incident to his father, who filed a complaint with RT Nagar police,” said public prosecutor P Krishnaveni.
